After spending time on the ground in Ethiopia serving orphans and children in need this week, Orphan Sunday takes on a special meaning.
Orphan Sunday is a day for all of us to pause and consider the needs of the orphans.
Their voices are silent but their souls are shouting to be given a chance in this world.
After I return from a trip to Ethiopia, where the need is everywhere, it is the faces that I can't get out of my mind. Their great big eyes look up into mine and they feel a glimmer of hope because someone is smiling back at them.
There will be more to come on our trip to Ethiopia and South Africa, but today if you could
pause for a minute to think about the silent children in need without a mother or father.
They need our voice, they need our support.....now more than ever.
Love this! Thanks for the glimpse into your week.
